Compassion in World Farming
Compassion Collective was set-up by Anna and Stu who are also the founders of Compassionate Dorset – a voluntary animal welfare group in the UK who have raised thousands of pounds since 2009 as a local supporter group for the leading farm animal welfare charity Compassion in World Farming.
Compassion in World Farming was founded in 1967 by a concerned dairy farmer on a mission to improve the lives of farm animals and end factory farming. Like Compassion, we believe that factory farming is the biggest cause of animal cruelty in the UK and worldwide. We believe in a world without factory farming – where farm animals are treated with the respect and compassion that all sentient beings deserve.
Factory farming doesn’t just affect farm animals either. The use of pesticides, growth of intensive farming and industrial fish farming, along with deforestation to grow food to feed animals for meat, is also polluting our land, oceans and inland waterways, and causing a decline in our UK and world wildlife – from bees and hedgehogs to Orang-utans, jaguars and even the Sumatran elephant.
That’s why we continue to support Compassion’s vital work to create a more compassionate world for the billions of animals who are still farmed for food worldwide every year, and to help our wildlife and planet too.
A small share of our profits from ALL sales including from our farm animal themed tees from our Animaltopia Clothing online shop (formerly the Compassionate Tee-Shop) are donated to raise awareness and support Compassion in World Farming.
Our designs are available at Animaltopia Clothing using RSPCA award winning ethical suppliers, and sustainable and eco-friendly materials and inks – which is better for people, animals and our planet. These include our original and bestselling ‘Highland Cow’ and ‘Born to Roam’ tees we started selling at Compassionate Dorset events back in 2010/11 – but now available in gorgeous new colours and organic styles, produced as ethically as is possible!
All our tees and tops including our jumpers are vegan friendly – made from organic materials which do not contain any animal tested or animal derived ingredients.
We donate a minimum of 1% of our net profits to each charity we support including Compassion in World Farming. In previous campaigns for Compassion we have donated between 50% to 100% of our gross profits.
We also recently donated 20% of our net profits to Compassion in World Farming for ALL Compassionate Tee-Shop sales made throughout May and June 2018 to support their Stop Live Transport campaign.
Art Prints & Greetings Cards
A share of our profits from sales of ALL our art prints and greetings cards via our Etsy shop are also donated to Compassion in World Farming.

Compassionate Food Guide
We are also currently helping to create a free Compassionate Food Guide collaborating with Compassionate Dorset and Compassion in World Farming – to help people understand what their food labels mean, and to encourage people to eat less, but higher welfare meat and dairy, or to try going vegan to help create a kinder and more sustainable food system. We also hope to distribute UK wide so watch this space…
